Do I need an account to use ScrumMastr?

No. Create a room, share the link, and your team can vote immediately. No signup, no email, no password.

How do I create a session?

Click "Create a room", pick a session type (Planning Poker, Confidence Voting, or Moodboard), choose a deck, and share the room link with your team.

How many people can join a room?

There is no hard limit. ScrumMastr works best with agile teams of 2 to 20 people.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. ScrumMastr works in any browser and has native apps for iOS and Android.

Are votes really anonymous?

Yes. Votes are hidden until the host reveals them. No one can see what others voted until the reveal.

What stats do I get after a reveal?

Average, median, spread, min/max, closest card, distribution chart, consensus level, and outlier detection.

What is Confidence Voting?

A way to gauge how confident your team feels about a decision. Use Fist of Five, Traffic Light, or Thumbs to vote before committing to a sprint or release.

What is a Moodboard session?

A team mood and energy check-in. Choose from Mood Check, Energy Level, Mad/Sad/Glad, Sailboat, or Start/Stop/Continue. Track sentiment across rounds with charts.

Can I use custom decks?

Yes. Create custom numeric decks or custom scales with your own values.

Is ScrumMastr really free?

Yes. All features work on the free plan. Participants see a subtle ad banner. Pro removes ads and adds extras.

Do my team members need to pay?

Never. Only the room host needs a Pro account. Participants join free, always.

What does Pro include?

Can I use ScrumMastr with Jira?

ScrumMastr is a standalone estimation tool. Run your estimation session, agree on story points, and enter them into Jira. The benefit: real-time anonymous voting with instant stats that Jira does not offer.

Why not just use Slack polls or Google Forms?
